This picture took me hours to locate with Google Earth. These mountains are just East of L.A. and I didn't remember where the plane was when I took the original photo on the left. Using the shadows on the mountains and remembering about what time I took the photo, I was able to get my position correct in G.E. to finally spot that distinct "V" cut in the middle of the photo. Notice also the lake at the top of both photos.
