Try it out. Silent Ringtone. If you're an adult you'll need a kid. If you're a kid you'll need an adult.

1/25/2006 - Ever hear of Holophonic Sound? If you have headphones check out this demo. You'll experience sounds ABOVE and BELOW you!
1/23/2006 - I bought myself some Aerogel off Ebay and just received it today. Amazing stuff! As you can see in the picture below, Aerogel against a black background appears blue. The same piece against a white background becomes almost invisible.
It's appearance looks foamy at first, but hold it up to the light and it looks just like a solid ice cube.
To the touch it is very light and feels like a piece of Styrofoam, but it instantly draws the moisture and the oil from your skin wherever it touches. A faint white fingerprint will appear on the surface of the Aerogel.
The samples in the dish originally were two pieces. A little more than just slight pressure makes it shatter like glass. Looking at it with a magnifying loop you can see small fractures traveling through it. The edges break clean and sharp.
BTW, that's $75 worth of Aerogel in the dish. It's also 98.8% air.

1/21/2006 - Welcome to Day Twenty-One

Watch Live NASA TV here.
Stardust returns safely! Click the photo to go to the Stardust homepage.

- NASA is looking for help from people on the Internet. On
Jan. 15, 2006, at 5:12 a.m. EST. a capsule containing dust from comet Wild
Child will return to Earth in the Utah Test and Training Range.
When recovered, NASA will need people to look through a virtual microscope and
find specs of dust. You will be able to control the microscope with your PC.
This is not for everyone. You will be trained and tested before you can qualify.
1/07/2006 - I added a new 3D category today. Check out the Google Earth™ 3D section on the left. Google Earth™ is a free program that lets you see Earth using colorful and high resolution satellite photographs laid over a 3D terrain. Type in your address and G.E. zooms you from outer space right down to your street! You can see the depth of the Grand Canyon or height of Mt. Saint Helen. Also on the G.E.3D page is a link to my G.E. vs. Real Life where I compare pictures I took from an airplane with screenshots I took from G.E. Simply amazing! Enjoy.
1/02/2006 - WARNING: This link is totally addictive. The Falling Sand Game is never-ending. It holds the power to pull you away from sex! Good Luck.

12/30/2005 - Happy Birthday Dad!

12/28/2005 - If you like fine art let me introduce you to Peter Gric. He's got a nice clean site and well organized with samples of his work from over the past 20 years.

Speaking of art, when you are finally ready to paint your house or design your website check out Color Schemer Online. It's the easy way to pick a color scheme that looks harmonic and makes you look like a professional.
12/27/2005 - I added a new Mars 3D section today. Stereo sets of the images were obtained from Mars Exploration Rover Mission web site at NASA/JPL. Scenes show images from Mars taken by the rovers Spirit & Opportunity. You can find all the raw images from the missions here.
I also added some more 3D in the misc. section. New images include photos taken from my flight into Orlando International Airport. Pointing my camera out the window I took rapid shots of the clouds going by. Choosing two pictures from each set I created some cool 3D of the clouds and the city of Orlando. You will notice the plane engine looks "sunken in" in some of the photos. This is because the perspective of the engine didn't change from my point of view.
12/27/2005 - Leave it to me to get banned from my own site. I tried to install a small message board but a corrupt install ended in me getting banned by my server. Took 2 days to track down the problem. I guess I won't be trying that again.
Here's a cool site. Click on the map once and type in your zip code. zipcode

12/23/2005 - Here's a guy that just wants you to let him play dead. His dream is to appear in movie credits as "The Dead Body Guy" and he's starting to get noticed by the right people. www.DeadBodyGuy.com
12/20/2005 - Started running BONIC on my PC to donate my processor time for good causes. One nice feature of the program is that I can donate time to several projects. Presently I am donating to SETI@home and Predictor@home. If one of the projects run out of work it will run the other project, keeping my PC working and earning credits.
Ever wonder what some of the best sites are on the net? Checkout the Webby Awards. It's sort of the Academy Awards for internet web sites. This year is the 10th call for entries. See the nominees and past winners. Be sure to read the five-word acceptance speeches by the winners.
12/18/2005 - Whooo Hooo! SETI@home has accepted enough of my work units after shutting down that I was able to get my 5,000 WU certificate!

My Orin gif was published on the only blog I read; J-Walk Blog.
12/16/2005 - I'm adding pictures to the photo gallery. One of them is a girl named Orin who takes a picture of herself everyday so she can monitor and record the growth of her hair. So far she has about 3 years of pictures. I took one year of her photos and composed them into an animated gif which flashes the year 2003 set of mug shots.
12/15/2005 - I'm a little bummed out today. I have been participating in the SETI@home project since April 6, 2004 and today the "Classic" version is being shutdown. I'm bummed because I have completed 4,977 work units and was looking forward to getting my 5,000 work unit certificate. I'm missing it by just 3 days. The project is not dead though. They are switching over to a new system called BONIC which can do computing for several other projects.
I still have work units crunching away and hoping they will accept them in a few days when they finalize the count.
I have now added the extra help page for viewing the cross eye 3D pictures. Hope it helps others to see the 3D effect.
12/14/2005 - Made some progress today! I figured out how to make the text scroll over the background. Minor change but I like the effect.
12/13/2005 - For the most part I have finished the Cross Eye 3D galleries. They are much easier to navigate now. I will be adding more information about viewing the 3D pictures as there are a few people who still have trouble seeing the 3D effect.
Got some good links I want put up along with my photo chops and forum graphics. Fun stuff.
I still have some things to learn, like making this text scroll up over the background. All in due time.
Thanks for stopping by.
